Joel Campbell, who went through Sporting CP last season, told the Arsenal management that he did not want to be loaned again, according to The Guardian. The 25-year-old Costa Rica international returned to the Arsenal training center on Monday to continue his recovery from a serious knee injury.
In Arsenal since 2011, the Costa Rican has already been loaned to Lorient, Betis, Olympiacos, Villarreal and Sporting and only for a full season, which effectively lined up in the English team (2015/16), where he scored four goals in 30 matches.
Joel is a great player, with great technical qualities, tactics and with a lot of speed and unbalance, he has a goal and is a very good person, I think he needs more consistency and believe more in him, in order to reach his maximum potential.
