Yesterday and today they played the six games corresponding to the second date of soccer in the Professional League of Costa Rica.
Alajuelense in a great game premiered his hybrid field to full stadium before the Saints of Guapiles. A technology that apply teams like Real Madrid, Barcelona, PSG , and some other great teams in Europe.
The Hybrid technology for soccer fields is of 04% of plastic that is used for the synthetic fields, and 96% natural grass.
Its origins date back to the mid-1990s, when in the British town of Huddersfield they needed a field strong enough to withstand football and rugby matches at the same time. It was there that began to be used what is known as the "third way" of lawns in the world.
Its global debut was four years ago, when two fields in the World Cup of South Africa used hybrid technology for the first time in the history of the biggest international tournament of this sport.
It is not about sowing and cutting. It is a little more knitting the plastic with the grass. Like a coat. Some machines were responsible for burying 20 million plastic fibers in the field. The process is that the machines run the playing field. Every two centimeters advance and "bury" plastic fibers 18 centimeters long.
Through a complex process, the fibers manage to adhere to the grass that was already planted on the court.
The result is greater stability because the hybrid acquires the virtues of the natural grass and the artificial one. The grass acquires greater stability and resistance to the parties.
Congratulations to the managers of the Alajuelense Sports League of Costa Rica, for their vision and work in having a first world grass.
So the games remained on date two of the Costa Rican soccer league.
Carmelita 1 vs University of Costa Rica 2
Liberia FC. 0 vs Herediano 2
Alajuelense 2. vs Santos 2
Perez Zeledon 1 vs Saprissa 2
Guadalupe FC. 0 vs Greece 3
Cartaginés 0 vs Limon FC 0
