In a beautiful and exciting match, in the women's soccer final of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic games, Canadá beat Sweden on penalties 3 x 2, after drawing 1 x 1 in regulation time.

The game was exciting, intense, with good depth, with a treatment of the ball, just one touch, wall plays, shots on goal, from all angles, a match at the height of an international final, soccer elite, with 22 leading women, giving the best of each one, to get the Olympic gold for their country

On this occasion, it has touched Canadá , to touch the Olympic gold, the ceiling of success, the emotion of having won the highest award for soccer in her beautiful country, after two bronze medals obtained, in previous Olympic games .

Women's football, has advanced by giant steps, both in infrastructure and in sports, part of this growth, has its share of responsibility, the rulers of each country, who do not skimp on efforts, working together, together with sports entities local and international, to promote this beautiful sport worldwide

From my humble virtual chair, without being Canadian, but very much a lover of soccer in general, male or female, I send my congratulations to the new Olympic football champions of Tokyo 2020.

Congratulations CANADÁ. For their discipline, sacrifice, perseverance, commitment and the excellent soccer practiced as a team, which has led them to obtain the gold medal, as the best female soccer players in the world.
