Thiago Silva leaves PSG, after eight years / will be presented by Chelsea, in the next few hours

After eight seasons, 315 games, of which 293 as captain and 25 titles, Thiago Silva leaves PSG, heading for English football. (Chelsea)

This morning, the Parisian team said goodbye to its former captain, through messages on social networks, as did colleagues, PSG fans and even its president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.

"Thiago, thank you for eight years of unforgettable memories, leadership and commitment. You are one of the greats and your legendary status at PSG will live on forever," PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi said in a club statement.

The player from the Brazilian national team will be presented by his new team, Chelsea FC of the English Premier League, in the next few hours and will be welcomed to Stamford Bridge

Thiago Silva would become Chelsea's fifth signing of the summer after Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech, Xavier Mbuyamba and Ben Chilwell.
