Danish Super League will resume on May 28

The Danish Super League will resume the competition on May 28, two and a half months after being suspended by the coronavirus pandemic and without an audience, the Association of Professional Clubs of Denmark announced on Monday.

The announcement was expected after the Danish government authorized the immediate return of professional sport last Friday, within the second phase of opening of public life, it will be the third European league to resume competition after it did last weekend. the week of the Faroe Islands, an autonomous territory under Danish sovereignty, and the German Bundesliga, which will begin on May 16.


"As long as it is not possible to have spectators in the stadiums, the times of the games will be changed to make them as accessible as possible to the fans. That only applies until there can be a public again," said a statement. The Midtjylland leads the table with 62 points, twelve more than the current champion Copenhagen.
