On Tuesday AD Carmelita defeated the University of Costa Rica 1 x 0 in a match played at the Jose Rafael Fello Meza Stadium in the city of Cartago.
On Wednesday, Limon FC defeated Guadalupe FC as a visitor with a 2 x 1 score, played at the Coyella Fonseca stadium in the city of Guadalupe.
Herediano crushed the Cartagines who can not find his north with a 3 x 0 score, with goals by Yendrick Ruiz on two occasions and one more by Randall Azofeifa.
Saprissa also crushed the current champion, Perez Zeledon, with goals from Daniel Colindres who scored double and one more from David Ramirez.
