Yesterday Portugal qualified for the quarter-finals with a dramatic victory in the final minutes of extra time against Croatia (1-0) in Lens, thanks to a goal from Ricardo Quaresma in which he was an important part of merit Cristiano Ronaldo, and crack a pass from Nani.
When Croatia pressed in search of victory and just crashed a ball into the post with Nikola Kalinic, the Lusitanian, in a backlash, they struck the fatal blow: Nani opened for Cristiano Ronaldo in the area sent a cross shot that goalkeeper Danijel Subasic stopped, but leaving the dead ball, just for Quaresma (117) pushed to the network head.
