The Football League in Costa Rica already has the four teams qualified for the next phase, and the team that has defeated the second Division.

Alajuelense lost his game 0 x 2 to the Santos of Guapiles team, the two teams will be in the next round of home runs.

Saprissa defeated current champion Perez Zeledon with a 3 x 2 score. The purple team qualifies for the next championship phase and Perez Zeledon is eliminated.

Carthage tied 1 x 1 against the Herediano team and retains the category in the maximum league of Costa Rican football, while Herediano is also classified.

Carlos Andrés Alvarado Quesada ( Born in San Jose, Costa Rica, January 14, 1980 and only 38 years old.) is a Costa Rican writer, journalist, political scientist and politician, former Minister of Labor and Social Security.

 Alvarado holds a bachelor's degree in communication and a master's degree in political science from the University of Costa Rica, a master's degree in development studies from the University of Sussex and president-elect of the nation for the period 2018-2022.

The date number 19 in the soccer league in Costa Rica, started on Saturday when Carmelita defeated Liberia FC with a final score of 2 x 1.

Then played Greece and current champion Perez Zeledon, the score at the end was Greece 2, Perez Zeledon 3, in a vibrant game played at the Allen Riggioni stadium.

Also the Herediano team won 1 x 0 against Limon FC in a very tactical and closed game that leaned with a goal from the player Jairo Arrieta, who by the way, is on a very good level and hot hand with the goal.

Cartaginés tied as a visitor against Santos of Guapiles with a score of 1 x 1 after the old metropolis team won the game until the minute 83 in which Santos tied.

Saprissa came back to win but suffered a lot to do it before a University of Costa Rica well standing in the Ricardo Saprissa stadium that began winning the game, until the team from the city of Tibas turned the score with goals from Jerry Bestong and Jonathan Moya.

Finally Alajuelense has just won 3 x 0 as a visitor to Guadalupe FC with goals from Roger Rojas, Alex Lopez and Allen Guevara.

Date 18 / Professional soccer league in Costa Rica

The eighteenth date in the professional soccer league of Costa Rica is played complete, including the classic between the Saprissa and Alajuelense teams.

And is that a classic is a totally different party to others. Alajuelense and Saprissa played one that had a very good level, with wall plays, goals, referee controversy, punches and even coins thrown from the bleachers.

In the end the score was 3 x 3 with goals from Honduran international players, Roger Rojas, Alex Lopez and one more from Costa Rica, Jonathan McDonald for Alajuelense, for Saprissa they scored, Jonathan Moya, Pablo Gabas own goal, and one more from him. Honduran Jerry Bengtson.

In another game with the goal of the player Jairo Arrieta, the Herediano team defeated the defending champion team Perez Zeledon 1 x 0 away.

Cartagines still does not see the light, and tie 0 x 0 at his stadium Jose Rafael Fello Meza to the Greece FC team and see how dangerously close the team that occupies the last place to only seven points.

The seventeenth date in the Costa Rica Soccer League has been completed with five games today and one more on Tuesday.

Saprissa tied 2 x2 against Greece FC in a game very disputed and with options in both goals.

Alajuelense is the new leader of the League, defeating Liberia FC, with a final score of 3 x 1, played in the Edgardo Baltodano Briceno stadium.

Perez Zeledon who is the current champion, defeated Cartagines 2 x 1 as a visitor at the José Rafael Fello Meza stadium.

Limon FC, 2 x 2 tie, against the brave and fighting AD Carmelita team.

The University of Costa Rica tied 1 x 1 against the Santos of Guapiles team.


Finally the Herediano team, defeated 3 x 1 to Guadalupe FC, with two goals by Jairo Arrieta and one by Jimmy Marin.

Date 16 / Costa Rica Soccer League

The League in Costa Rica is very exciting, both in the upper part of the table, and in the lower one because of the lack of action.

While several equipment teams fight in the table to classify to the final quadrangular, three equipment is date, to date, fighting do not go down to the promotion league

As for goal scorers, players Jonathan McDonald and Roger Rojas of the Alajuelense team, continue with an excellent performance and lead the scorers table with 12 and `10 goals respectively, also the Herediano team player, Yendrick Ruiz adds with 8 goals in the fight for the goal scorer champion of this year 2018.

On Saturday the 15th date opened in the professional soccer league in Costa Rica

Alajuelense ruthlessly defeated Perez Zeledon's team 3 x 0, with two goals from league goalscorer Jonathan McDonald and one more by Honduran international player Alexander Lopez.

Saprissa could only draw 1 x 1 against a tough local team of AD Carmelita, with a goal in the 88th minute by Daniel Colindres.

Herediano lost as a visitor at the Allen Riggioni stadium in the beautiful city of Greece to the local team Grecia FC with a score of 1 x 2 in a hard-fought match, where there were all and even two players sent off, one for each team, Junior Diaz ( CSH) and Allan Aleman (Gre).

Cartagines lost again in his stadium Fello Meza, this time with Guadalupe FC, with a final score of 1 x 2 in a bad game of the team from the city of mists.

Limon is still good despite the fact that every year they dismantle the team, taking their best players to other teams. This time I won 1 x 2 as a visitor against the Universidad de Costa Rica team.

Finally Liberia FC tied 1 x 1 against Santos of Guapiles, match made in the Edgardo Baltodano stadium in Liberia, Guanacaste. The local team remains in the last place in the absence of eight dates and being 9 points from the Carthaginians.

The date number 14 was completed in its entirety on Sunday.

At the Rafael Bolanos stadium, AD Carmelita fell at home with a 1 x 2 score against Santos of Guapiles.

In the provincial classic, Herediano received Alajuelense, at the end of the game the score of 1 x 1 was the result in a very entertaining game that could win either of the two teams. I score goal, Yendrick Ruiz for the home team (CSH) and Cristofer Meneses for Alajuelense.

Saprissa is playing  frightening football, where you can see the discomfort of his fans, who pass whistle to his team in sections of the game as a measure of protest by the malfunction of some of his figures and part of the technical body, could hardly win at Cartagines with a score of 1 x 0, a goal scored by Marvin Angulo in the 93rd minute and a great mistake by the defense of the team of the mists.

In another game, Guadalupe FC and Liberia tied 1 x 1 in the game of many emotions in the areas, mainly in the team of the tournament team that came to defend almost in the majority of the game.

Alajuelense lost by score 2 x 1 against Limon FC on the 13th date in the Professional Soccer League of Costa Rica

Herediano is the new leader of the championship by defeating AD Carmelita 1 x 2 in a highly contested game.

Saprissa lost again 1 x 0 this time against Santos of Guapiles, after having fallen 1 x 5 thrashed against the America of Mexico by the CONCACAF Champions League.

Cartagines tied 0 x 0 against the University of Costa Rica as a visitor and remains in danger zone, but breathing better than Liberia FC, which is the candidate to desender this season

Greece after coming from five games without losing product of four wins and a draw, lost at home in their stadium Allen Rigioni, against Guadalupe FC, with a score of 2 x 3 at the end of the 90 minutes.

Finally, the current champion team, Perez Zeledon tied 1 x 1 against the last place of the Liberia FC tournament, played at the Edgardo Baltodano Briceno stadium in the White City.


So goes the professional soccer league of Costa Rica after thirteen disputed dates.

The 12th date started yesterday with the Herediano Vs University of Costa Rica match with a final score of 1 x 1 in the professional soccer league of Costa Rica. Goals: Junior Diaz, Herediano, and Francisco Rodrigues four UCR Team.

Today played the remaining five games, which highlights the defeat of Alajuelense in their own stadium to the team of Greece, scored for Alajuelense Honduran international player, Roger Rojas with a double, for Greece marked Alan Aleman on two occasions and one more Fuller.

Saprissa won his game with a 1 x 0 score against the last place of the championship, Liberia FC, the purple goal was achieved by the player Ariel Rodriguez.

Limon tied 2 x 2 as a visitor against the defending champion team Perez Zeledon. goals from Din John Arias and Keylor Soto , for the visiting team they scored , Espinoza and Bolanos.

Cartagines won its first game after twelve dates by beating AD Carmelita, with goals from Paolo Jimenez, Jemesson Scott, Randall Alvarado and Dylan Flores,  four Carmelita, Pedro Leal.

Finally, Guadalupe lost at their Colleya Fonseca stadium, before Santos Guapiles 2 x 3, for Guadalupe scored Josue Martinez and Miguel Marin, for Santos scored, Leonardo Adams, Jose Garro and A. Zapata.

Date 11 - Costa Rica Soccer League 2018

The date number 11 was made today in the professional soccer league in Costa Rica.

Limon defeated at his stadium Juan Goban, at Saprissa with final score of 3 x 2. Daniel Colindres scored two goals for the purple team, Andrey Francis, Alexander Espinoza, Victor Perez for Limon FC.

Greece won a visit to the UCR with a 2 x 1 score, Yoserth Hernández, Harry Rojas scored for the Greeks and Victor Gutierrez for the university team.

Alajuelense continues to win and beating, this time I play the UD Carmelita team that went thrashed 5 x 0 against Alajuelense quite offensive and balanced in attack, defense. The Alajuelenses goals were the work of Jonathan McDonald who reached 10, Roger Rojas also with double, reached 7 in the table and one of Jose Luis Cordero.

The current champion Perez Zeledon drew a 0-0 0 away draw against Guadalupe FC.

Liberia FC tied 1 x 1 against Cartagines in a duel to the death due to the permanence in the category. Liberia reached 20 points and is at 7 from Cartagines, which with the tie achieved at the Edgardo Baltodano stadium reaches 27 points.


Finally Santos of Guapiles tied 0 x 0 against Herediano, a game held in the Caribbean city one hour from the capital San Jose.
