The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) announced Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti as its new manager. The official announcement was made by President Ednaldo Rodrigues.

Carlo will coach the Green and Yellows for next month's qualifying matches against Ecuador and Paraguay.
