Eighteen full dates have already been played in the soccer league in Costa Rica, with four more left, Alajuelense with 39 points is in first place just one point behind the Saprissa who has 38, San Carlos which is the newly-established team, has 32 points in the third position, further back Perez Zeledon, with 29 points, Carthaginians with 28 and Herediano also with 28.
These are the teams that are looking for a ticket to qualify among the first four, which will continue to the next phase to fight for the title of football in the happiest country in the world.
The second part of the table has the Santos Guapiles teams 22 points, Carmelita 22 points also, then Greece comes with 21 points.
The bottom of the standings has three teams fighting for the non-desso to the category of second A, Guadalupe FC with 17 points, Limón FC with 15 points and in the last place University of Costa Rica with only 9 points.
In the scoring department, Alajuelense team player Jonathan McDonald, and Sancarlos team , Álvaro Saborío, have scored 11 goals each, Marcel Hernandez of Cartaginés scored 10, and ADCarmelita player Bryan Rojas also has 10.
