SAN DIEGO (AP) - Eric Hosmer and Salvador Perez homered in the second inning against former teammate Johnny Cueto, that David Ortiz had a triumphant farewell All-Star Game, which won the American League on Tuesday, 4 -2 to the National.
'' I really wanted to win at the last All-Star Game David Ortiz, '' said Venezuelan Perez. '' It's amazing to have been with him. We all want to be like him. ''
Hosmer and Perez of the Kansas City Royals starter punished Cueto, who were crowned in the World Series last. For this campaign, Cueto signed a contract with the San Francisco Giants.

It was the fourth straight win of the AL in the All-Star, so that circuit team advance to the World Series, will have the advantage. This, perhaps Perez and Hosmer have helped his own cause, if they reach October with the possibility of retaining his title.
'' Hopefully this is the beginning of a rebound in the second half of the season, and we can find a way to take advantage of that local, '' said Hosmer, whose team is currently seven games of the tip in the Central division.
In the past 19 years, the American has won 15 times All-Star.
In the third episode, Hosmer produced the fourth race of the American, with a single that brought home to Edwin Encarnacion, who had entered as a pinch runner in one of the most emotional moments of the match, replacing compatriot Ortiz.

Gwynn, who entered the Hall of Fame in 2007, died in 2014 at age 54 due to cancer in the salivary glands. He participated in the 1992 All-Star Game, the last time the midseason classic was held in San Diego.
For the National League, Venezuelans Wilson Ramos 1-0, 1-0 Odúbel Herrera, Carlos Gonzalez 2-1. The Ozuna Dominican 2-1 with one produced. Cuban Diaz 1-0.
For the American, Venezuelan Jose Altuve 3-0, 1-0 Miguel Cabrera, Perez 2-1 with a run scored and two RBIs. Manny Machado Dominicans 3-0, Encarnacion 1-0 with a run scored. Lindor 2-0, 1-0 Puerto Rican Carlos Beltran.
