Suriname's vice president, Ronnie Brunswijk, makes history in CONCACAF, and world football, by jumping onto the pitch and playing as captain, at 60 years of age in an official match, has done so with the Inter Moengotapoe club, vs. Olimpia of Honduras.

The truth does not play badly, he has bearing, style, placement, good technique and finishing power, he also has character, a winning and competitive spirit.

He played 60 minutes and completed 14 of the 17 passes attempted before being replaced in the second half by his son Damian Brunswijk.

He made history by becoming the oldest player to play in international club competition. He put on the shirt with the number 61, in tribute to the year he was born (March 7, 1961)
